Seasonal Tips

Good Skin Care is a Must during the Summer.

Summer is a challenging time for skin. It is exposed to extreme heat and humidity or dry conditions, plus chlorine and salt from outdoor fun. Below are tips to help minimize these impacts so you can have younger-looking beautiful skin throughout this season.

Tip #1: Use Antioxidants on Your Skin to Help Correct Sun Damage.

Increase in Sun = Increase in Free Radicals = Aging Effects

  • Antioxidants have been proven to fight free radicals to help correct lines/wrinkles and reverse sun damage. VITAPURE Ultra Antioxidant Nutrient Serum contains antioxidant Vitamins A, C, E and Selenium and is an excellent way to enjoy the proven anti-aging benefits of antioxidants.
  • An antioxidant eye cream is very important for the very fragile eye skin area. Check out NUTRIAGE Total Eye Repair Creme which is a pure antioxidant eye crème. See your eyes brighten!
  • Under any sun protection products, we recommend applying products that contain Vitamins C and E like our VITAPURE Serum. This has been proven to increase sun protection even more.
  • With too much sun exposure, apply VITAPURE Serum to help calm and soothe the hot irritated feeling of the skin.

Tip #2: Proper and Thorough Cleansing is Critical during Summer Months.

More Time Outdoors = More Skin Challenges from Dirt & Sunscreen

Tip #3: Sunless Tanners are a Great Alternative for a Bit of Color.

Rather than bake in the sun or use a tanning bed, the best way to get color is from sun-less tanners. They basically “tan” the dead cells on the outer layers of our skin. Avoid tanners on the face to minimize chemicals on this more delicate skin.

Exfoliate before using these products to get the most lasting and even effect. Washing eventually removes the effect, so reapplication will be necessary. Also, as you exfoliate, the color comes off. A tanning bed is a high risk way of getting a tan.
